IEAGHG funds research into carbon capture and storage (CCS), also known as CO2 capture and storage, or carbon sequestration.

Our work focuses on technologies that can reduce our carbon emissions, and mitigate climate change and global warming. We are a not for profit organisation, and all of our work is subject to peer review ensuring that it remains impartial and unbiased.

GHGT-13 Call for papers now open

We are proud to announce the next installment of the GHGT conference series, GHT-13 to be held 14th-18th November 2016, Lausanne, Switzerland. We are now inviting papers from across the CCS chain. Full details can be found on the brand new website

PCCC3 and SaskPower Symposium - Presentations now available

Over 190 attendees travelled to Regina, Canada to experience 2 days of technical presentations followed by a Symposium hosted by SaskPower presenting the business model for CCS at Boundary Dam and the results of the first year of operation. Topped off with a tour to Boundary Dam and Aquistore; a fititng end to a successful conference.
