Introduction

 

The fourth meeting of the CCS Cost Workshop was hels on March 23-24, 2016 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetss. This function is now designated as the CCS Cost Network under the auspices of the IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme. 

The purpose of the workshop is to share and discuss the most currently available information on the costs of carbon capture and storage (CCS) in electric and other industrial applications, as well as the current outlook for future CCS costs and delpoyment. The workshop also seeks to identify key issues or topics related to CS costs thay merit further discussion and study.
